Packing my stuff

2nd June 2009 is the day that I will leave from AIT. I am sure that I will miss AIT, even I was not here for 8 months and just come back for 1 month. However, I am sure that I will miss AIT because during 8 months that I was not in AIT, I miss AIT a lot. I will start to pack my stuff from today and hope I won’t have much thing to bring back as it is not easy . I called to my parents and close friend to inform them the date I will go back.

I will back to AIT again if I have time and money to joint my friends’ graduation ceremony or for visiting.

CASA Farewell Party

28 may 2009 is the farewell party day for all CASA’s members, it is free for CASA’s members but not for others. We ordered a very nice food from SOM school and we had dinner together. Our program includes dinner, slide show, sharing experiences from new graduated students and senior who came to joint the ceremony, singing and dancing.

National Science Museum-Thailand

Today, AIT organizes a visit to National Science Museum. It is not far from our campus, it takes around 25 minutes only; and we had 2 bus to go there. But when we came back there is only one bus. We left here at 9am30 and we came back at 2pm30.

The museum is quite interesting for me; however, I did not have time to read all notes in each part/exibition. The museum composes by 3 museum, natural history museum, bioworld and IT museurm. Sometime, this museum organizes exhibition or special training.

Next step

After finishing my master degree, I plan to stay at my hometown for 1 month and then find short time job to do before starting the real job as a lecturer in ITC. I will try to become a good lecturer.

Take rest for these days

After finishing clearance stuff, I do not study at all and even I want to do some more works for my advisor in France. I did not do it. I just go around with friends and watch movies. However, this state will not remain long for me as everyone has responsibility to do. Not only me do like this but other friends to, they said we just pass a very difficult step. So we should relax before facing new obstacles. I am strongly agree with them .

Party organized by SU for graduating students

SU organizes a party for graduating students. It is free entry for them however it is not free for relative and friends. I do not enjoy much with that party. I feel it does not provide friendly environment and the food is not that good. I joint for sometime and then back to my room. However, I still hear the music as it is near my dorm.

111th Graduation ceremony in AIT

27 May 2009 is the 111th graduation ceremony in AIT and it is a day that I am waiting for so long. Finally, I got my master degree from AIT (Thailand) and TSP (France). AIT has 3 schools, School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Management (SOM) and School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD). All the graduated students get their certificates from the president of AIT. I see this point is very good compare to all universities in Cambodia because I think in all their graduation ceremony, they give the certificate only to some representative of the students and for the rest; they have to go to a reserved room and take the certificate by themself. I do not think that it takes to much time by just giving to all students. Students spend 4 or 5 years to obtaint their bachelor, they have to compete in queing to get the certificate.

Today, AIT has live broadcast about the graduation ceremony. My parents cannot come to join and they do not have internet connection. Therefore, I will by a DVD and play for them when I get back to Cambodia.
